I am a licensed mindfulness teacher under the MindfulnessNow program and deliver bespoke 1:1 mindfulness sessions as well as group mindfulness and wellbeing workshops and programs. My workshops aim to improve wellbeing and reduce the impact of stress through psycho-education, discussion, reflection, creative exercises and mindfulness practises.
In the time of a pandemic with a young family and limited support the themes of being present, self-care and addressing my own needs were timely and extremely helpful. Mica was insightful and delivered activities which taught us to be present in addition to helping identify areas of growth. If anyone has the opportunity to do a workshop with Mica I would really encourage them to do it.

Mica's writing explores mental health, identity, relationships and intersectional issues. She writes short stories, poetry, essays and has written articles for BlackBallad and has had her work featured on SKYNEWS. She also writes narrative content for promotional, artistic and activist purposes.
