WRITING & POETRY
Mica published her debut poetry collection 'When Daisies Talk' in 2019. She has been commissioned to write poems for various art projects and has performed poems at mental health events across the UK. In 2018 anthology the 'colour of madness' exploring the mental health experiences of minoritized people in the UK. She has also written articles for Sky News, BlackBallad and other publications
In the time of a pandemic with a young family and limited support the themes of being present, self-care and addressing my own needs were timely and extremely helpful. Mica was insightful and delivered activities which taught us to be present in addition to helping identify areas of growth.
