HOW MINDFULNESS PRACTISE CAN HELP DURING JOINT THERAPY

One of the things that pandemic brought into focus was our relationships. It highlighted how important they are but also how challenging they can be. The proximity the national lockdown brought was either make or break for a lot of different relationships.

MAKING SPACE FOR US

‘Making Space For Us’ (MSFU) is a platform that aims to create spaces for us to grow in self-awareness, self-expression, mindfulness, creativity and mental wellbeing. MSFU creates resources and provides workshops that explore different aspects of mental health and wellbeing through psycho-education, discussion, creative exercises and mindful breathing practises.


Workshops are designed for schools, corporate spaces, clinical environments and community organisations and are designed to be responsive to the needs of the people in the space.

WRITING

Mica's writing explores mental health, identity, relationships and intersectional issues. She writes short stories, poetry, essays and has written articles for BlackBallad and has had her work featured on SKYNEWS. She also writes narrative content for promotional, artistic and activist purposes.
